Drummer Needed In The Delaware Valley!

Hello!
This is Coz, singer of Circuit Theory.

Tom (guitarist) and I are attempting to form a new musical project. But we're looking for a talented drummer.

DO YOU KNOW ONE? ARE YOU ONE?

Perhaps you are one and you're not satisfied with your current situation!

He or she should at least fit the following criteria:
1. Be able to practice twice a week in Brooklawn, NJ.
2. Be at least 21 years old.
3. Be able to keep a beat.

We told you that if you were a fan, you'd regret not coming out to see us at The Cherrywood this past Friday! Those who were there got to see something special. It was our last show. Or, at least it was our last one played as you currently know us.

We're not yet sure if the name will carry on with one of us, or if it'll be buried, but we are all in support of each other and will be supporting our individual plans as musicians by updating YOU fine folks through our Myspace account. So "STAY TUNED" to hear the future of Circuit Theory and our band member's future endeavors.

In other news, we are recording this weekend. Just one song - and it will most likely be our new one which debuted at The Pennant back on 8/9. We're looking forward to letting the rest of the world know what type of sound we're maturing into. We hope you'll find it more accessible with more drive behind it.

We also are going to attempt to take the next few months off so we can focus better on writing new material as well as finish up the songs we're working on. We may even get to record a song or two during the break, too.

We've been informed that Bert cannot be our full-time bassist as originally planned. So we're still looking for a full-timer. Meanwhile, Bert will be taking care of the upcoming shows we have in February.

A Message from Sean (the bassist)

The end of last year started to pick up quite nicely with the release of the EP, and the band starting to get back into performing live, expanding the areas of shows and continuing momentum. Now that the new year is under way and the with trying to keep up the momentum, there also comes new ideas, challenges, and changes.

With that said, Circuit Theory and I are parting ways. Now I know what you are saying to yourself, "Who's the bassist? Oh yeah, the quiet one. Who cares he's the easiest one to replace." And you're correct, in this case, I am the easiest to replace, so it shouldn't be very difficult for them to find someone new and most likely better. I will still be making music, whether or not it gets out to the public, is a different story, and this also affords me more time for other interests that have been pushed off. I don't have a MySpace page, so in any odd event that someone wants to contact me and keep up to date with what I'm doing, you're more or less out of luck along those lines. Though, if you look hard enough, you may find me. However, I still do work with Rick, so if you're nice, he might be gracious enough to pass anything along to me. The past couple years have been a fun and exciting experience. I thank everyone for their support and the great people and bands I've met along the way. It means more than you can imagine, thank you.

As mentioned, Sean Mathes is no longer the bassist of Circuit Theory. We'll still be playing the 3 shows currently scheduled for February 15th, 20th, and 22nd, so we are hopeful you will still come out and support us. We're actively seeking a replacement bassist and look forward to a very speedy recovery back to the scene. We'll be sure to keep you all updated. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us through this website or Myspace. Thank you very much.

Circuit Theory is happy to announce they will be a guest on The Jim Santora Show next Wednesday night, November 14th.

In a special 2-hour episode, Jim Santora spends some time with Kathy Coleman (aka Holly Marshall from TV's Land Of The Lost) and former pro wrestler champion "Natureboy" Buddy Landel before talking with members of Circuit Theory. Tune in at 9pm on Wednesday, November 14th

We believe the show will be broadcast live and will sometimes accept phonecalls. Feel free to call in and express your love for Circuit Theory's music! :)

Well, we've successfully shaken the rust off over the last 4 days. Thank you to everyone who came out to see us at Mojo13 and PhilaFunk Live.

We've already begun filling up the month of November (including the date of our much anticipated CD Release Party) and we'll continue to add dates as soon as we can. If you haven't already done so, you should sign up for our mailing list/newsletter. It's real professional looking! See?

New design, new shows

Thanks for visiting the brand new circuittheorymusic.com. Along with the re-launch of the site, it's officially marking a re-launch of the band. We'll be making every effort we can to continually play live shows and spread ourselves out as much as possible. We'll need every bit of help we can get, though, so if you can visit the fan area and utilize some of the banners, AIM icons, widgets, and anything else you can do to help promote us, that would be a great start.

We hope you enjoy this new design and find it a comfortable and convenient place to visit and get information about us.

Also, for those who thought the day would never come, we have a date scheduled for our CD Release Party (sort of... It will be in November)! Check out the calendar page and take note. More info to come.

Myspace Redesign / Accident is Released

Hey folks! You should know our Myspace page has been completely redesigned to match our EP artwork. This website you're looking at right now is currently being re-designed as well. It's looking amazing!

We've posted "ACCIDENT" on Myspace as well. This is the first new song from the EP! Keep checking back there because we will be adding more songs as the weeks go by and we get closer to the release date.

We've got tickets available for our upcoming show at The Trocadero on March 23rd and we've added a t-shirt to our store so you can joyously wear your shirt at the show.

This might be our last show for a little while as we prepare to finish up our long-awaited EP and focus on writing fresh, new material. So if you can make it out, we strongly recommend it.

We've added a new show! Check the calendar.
Also, you have the option of buying tickets through us directly using Paypal. These tickets are available through Ticketmaster but they will of course be hitting you with a bunch of additional fees. Through us, you will pay face value, plus a mere $1 "restore" fee, securely.

Tickets are on sale now. We will have to stop accepting sales on 2/10 to ensure your tickets are delivered on time. So get them quick!
